There are not many brands that can look back on a long, sustained history of success like STAEDTLER FIMO can.
Thanks to its ergonomic triangular design, the comparably young STAEDTLER triplus fineliner has been impressing users with its excellent writing comfort since 2003 and has since become a permanent fixture on office desks.
A panel of experts, including Dr. Florian Langenscheidt, decided which leading brands – naturally ‘Made in Germany’ – were to be distinguished as ‘Brands of the Century’ and included in the encyclopaedia of the same name.
For the past 20 years now, this prestigious distinction has been awarded to German products and companies which stand for an entire product category, like, in our case, FIMO for ‘modelling clays’ and triplus fineliner for ‘fineliners’.
Dr. Florian Langenscheidt, both publisher and editor of ‘Brands of the Century’, presented the prize at the Frankfurt Book Fair at the launch of the new edition of this standard work.
